Western State Design is a licensed General Contractor that has been operating since 1974.   Our mission is to complete projects that meet the objectives of organic growth and result:

Reduce operating costs including utilities, water, wastewater, chemical usage, labor and in-house engineering services.

Laundry Plant Optimization

Most existing laundry plants do not meet the Program Intent of producing quality linen efficiently.  Many facilities have commenced operations in 15,000 to 20,000 sq ft laundries and the volume of linen processing has grown substantially.  Efficiency has declined as the volume has increased.

Often you see employees are required to move laundry carts within the laundry to the various stations.  These manual tasks reduce production and increase operational costs.

Western State Design has an approach to problem solving that will maximize the existing floor space and equipment.  Often, higher production does not require additional capital expenditures.

Having adequate source utilities including electricity, natural gas, steam, cold/hot/tempered water, compressed air, combustion air and makeup air affect production and optimization.

Automated tunnel/CBW systems will meet the targeted production only if the soiled linen is staged available for processing and the other tasks including drying, finishing, folding and conveying allow production to move through the plant as loads are discharged from each work station.
